Tea Kvar is the artistic identity of Tea Jurišić, a Croatian painter, illustrator and muralist. Educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, she works across illustration, painting and large-scale public art. Her visual language combines expressive figures, rich color, narrative imagery and a sensitivity to natural forms. Through her independent illustration practice and international mural projects, she moves between intimate images and architectural surfaces. Her work has appeared in projects including the London Mural Festival and the Mannheim mural Forever Jungbusch.
