It takes shape on the streets, in studios and within creative communities where artists challenge conventions, develop new visual languages and redefine how we see the world. **60 × 60 Time Capsule** begins in Bremen in 2026 with a simple but ambitious idea: bring together ten distinctive artistic voices, invite each to create ten original works, and capture a moment in contemporary art through the eyes of the artists shaping it. This first edition marks the beginning of a growing international collection. It celebrates artistic independence, creative exchange and the power of bringing different perspectives into a shared vision. The one hundred artworks created for Bremen 2026 form the first chapter of a much larger picture. They represent not only what artists see today, but what they imagine for tomorrow. ## The Format The concept follows a clear structure. **10 artists. 10 artworks each. 100 original paintings.** Every artwork is created on an identical canvas measuring 60 × 60 cm. The format provides a common physical framework while leaving complete freedom of artistic expression. No prescribed theme, technique or visual language determines the outcome. Each canvas stands as an independent work of art. Together, the one hundred paintings form a collective composition, revealing connections, contrasts and conversations between ten individual artistic worlds.
