The practice.
Slaven Kosanović, known as Lunar, is a Croatian graffiti pioneer, painter and cultural initiator based in Zagreb. Active since 1989, he has developed a visual language spanning graffiti, illustration, painting and graphic design. His flying cat characters are a recognizable signature of a career built around experimentation, travel and artistic friendships. A founding member of the YCP crew, Lunar has helped connect graffiti communities across borders. His 2019 book From Zagreb With Love documents three decades of work and collaboration, with extensive photography by his brother Smack. In 2025, Lunar was the driving force behind Lens, Pens & Cans at the Zagreb City Museum, bringing graffiti, illustration and photography into conversation. Among the figures he invited were Martha Cooper and Lady Aiko. For the founder of 60 × 60 Time Capsule, that exhibition became a defining personal encounter with the artists and friendships that inspired the Bremen project.

Bremen 2026
Lunar participates in Edition 001 with ten original paintings. His role in the wider story goes beyond the canvases: the artistic community he helped gather in Zagreb was an important catalyst for 60 × 60 Time Capsule.
